    Default wade and butcher razor

does anyone know if the old wade & butcher straight is a good blade. I' m think of buying one off ebay, hollow ground with it notched at the end.

    Smile Welcome, rshave1

W&B's are usually GREAT blades. Make sure it isn't too degraded and you're likely to get some sweet shaves out of it.

The one W&B that I have in my rotation absolutely rocks. Itīs a wedge, but still. It inspired me to get my dirty paws on a W&B full hollow.

I have two one is almost minty condition and the other has some hone wear. Both are great shavers, neither one were very easy to get honed and took some time and effort to get them to shave properly.
