Thanked: 1184I don't know but that crown doesn't make it look China to me. Nor does the shape of the blade. You might have a nice blade there.
click on the pic for a closer look guys :<0)Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Thanked: 156Oh yeah..sorry...updated my image posting account and now it seems to post smaller pics...have to look in to the settings.
The blade seems well ground - thin grind that flexes on the curve of the nail...that's the only reason i didn't trash it yet...
IOM any proud manufactures stamps not only the logo but some specs of identity and origin...
i'll try to post a better pic

Thanked: 156Did a little scratch test(minor, don'w worry i didn't ruin any blades)...can't seem to scratct this blade with any shefield/solingen and even the filarmonica all have softer steel, also scrached D2 tool steel at 62 HRC O_o!! so eiter it's not properly tempered or is of a higher hardness...
I'm rstoring it today just out of curiosity to see how it shaves.
Posting pics and rewiew afterwards in propper section.
