Local Razors
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows of any local stores/Shops that sell straights like Dovo or Theirs Issard (new Razors) not vintage like an antique shop. I'd like to buy one at a local shop so i can get a good idea of what it is i'm buying not just the one picture that Classicshaving.com and other online stores have

You may want to look for razors in cigar shops. Odddly enough i know of 4 tobaccanists that have razors and shaving gear as side lines, but they are all in the Albany area.
only one has TI but the rest all have dovo

ok thanks i'll check that out, wouldnt have thought of that but I guess it makes sense all things manly, Buffalo Has a lot of Tobacconists so I'm sure one has Razors

I know of one store that sells new razors in the US. That's Norstrom and they ony sell Stainless Henkels.

Really??? I've been to Nordstrom's...they sell fancy versions of Mach3 razors, but I have never seen any straights. I live in NY, and the only places I know of to go to in person are barber supply stores (which almost always carry Dovo exclusively), or The Art of Shaving store (which has overprice razors - they carry one Dovo and 3 Different Thiers Issard straights).
