Not at all! No concern intended, only the poor phraseology I used.
I had to describe one and how it worked to a new buyer here and had no photos. Your post is perfect in that it has all the information needed and should be cataloged for future questions.

As to the Curley...they are kind of 'neat' contraptions. I have several including a couple of NOS ones...Don't ask me WHY...they were just very 'Cheap' and they pop up all the time on EBAY. They came with two different colors of scales: Ivory and Black.

However IMO they don't shave for S**T, and it's a real PITA to use the 'Safety Guard'. And..they are rather difficult to strop properly. But they look kinda cool in a display case.

BTW...they did come with extra blades as an add-on when purchased.
