the razor that made the ding
a little while ago I posted about the razor I put on the stone and it made that awful sound DING. well I used the scales on another blade and today I was watching some one remove a chip out of a w& b blade. so I found the blade and started. this was a 6/8 before the mishap and now a 4/8. looks funny because the only scales I had on hand was fairly large for that blade. anyway I had fun and thought I'd post it and give you guys that do good work a laugh . believe it or not it did hone up and I'll try it in a few days. anyway for your amusement here it is

Thanked: 1184I don't think anybody here is going to laugh at someone else's misfortune or mistakes. We all make them and live with it. As for the razor hip hip hooray you got it shaving again. Maybe when you get time you can learn to make some more appropriate size scales for it.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

You are being hard on yourself. Sure, the scales look a little big. But as long as it shaves and functions well it is all good Well done.
