I didn't got before photos but you can see that this one was covered with the stuff. the good thing is the edge is good and the scales are ok. wish I could have gotten to it a little sooner. still I'm going to hone it up and try it. you know if the edge is good and the scales are good no one can see you use it. I have fun with these . I also found this one in the same store and can't make up my mind whether to hone it up or save it. I have looked at it close and can't see any hone marks. I knew if I left it there it to would rust away. tried to put one razor top and the other on the bottom of the post but didn't get it done.
