Thread: last one off the wall

not long ago a friend found out I was shaving with a straight razor and gave me 4 he had hanging on his shop wall. this is the last one. I'll hone tomorrow and try it out. I have been buffing and polishing with the little dermal and it doesn't look to bad. there Is how ever a spot on the blade that just does not want to come out. I've used real fine emery cloth and the buffer and polish. will try something different later but for now I would like to see how it performs. remember these razors were on the wall for at least 30 years without being wiped oiled or anything else. I think they held up ok. my photo isn't quite that good. it is a genco Henry's X. don't know how old it is but it had very little use.

Looks in great shape and don't see any hone wear. Heard Gencos are good shavers. Let us know.
