Antique store find
Found this at the antique store today. Looks to be in decent shape, just wish I had a way to hone it up! Anyone seen one like this before?

Can't go wrong with that. There's this huge antique store about an hour away from me and I have bought a few razors from the guy there and built up a repertoire and now he gives me 10% discount and I think the most expensive razor I have seen there is 30 bucks and it was a Fredrick Reynolds wedge which is my project right now. Most of his razors though are like 15 and there was a flawless Red Imp there for 20. I don't know why I didn't buy that but I'm kicking myself in the head now for it.

Just hoping this turns into a good shaver. The only thing I don't really like is that it's a 4/8. I've already got a couple 4/8's, and I like them, but prefer the 5/8 a little more.

Good old hardware store variety. These were imported en masse before WWII. Last of the German invasion of straight razors. They were done expertly, for the vast majority. It should shave the dickens. What is that character on the front scale? A devil or a lobster?

Looks like a devil that at one time was painted green. As I cleaned it up, some of the green came off.
