    Default Cadman and sons find.

Picked this up on a local Online Auction.

Is the blade savable by an expert?

Almost anything is possible, the question is do you really want to? Something special about this razor in particular?

Personally, I would take my Dremel and carefully grind off the toe, giving it a new round point (mind that Dremels and razors are a great recipe for overheated razors flying through your garage as the Dremel catches it and flings it away! In other words, read up and ask about before doing this). I've made a shorty razor a while back with success and have modified the points of several razors this way. It would need its scales shortened too. If you intend to play around with customisation and restoration, I think this is just the right razor.

Yeah just like Laurens said if you don't mind if something bad happens (further), it's a perfect candidate. +1 on a new round point for it.

Worth a try can't hurt it much and it's not like you have a lot invested.

Not too hard to shorten. Just be careful not to overheat the blade when you do it. Bengall are very good razors so well worth having a go at.
