    Default Rotation Reinforcements

Wanted to share with you the latest additions to my humble rotation. I had bought these 4 razors over the course of the past 6 months and had them delivered to the same address in Europe (as shipping costs from there to Asia are prohibitive unless I buy from the UK). They were all handed over to me this past Wednesday (Christmas day, very fitting ;-) by visiting family.

In addition to the razors, a few stones for maintenance (and to get me started on the road to honing):

    First photograph, top down:
    1. Slate finishing / polishing stone
    2. Naniwa SS 8000 hone
    3. Naniwa SS 800+5000 combination one
    4. Koraat Tantallum cast iron, wedge grind
    5. Wacker-made Dorko 576, 7/8", full hollow
    6. Wacker Chevalier 6/8“, full hollow
    7. Wacker Barbier’s Bride 6/8“, singing blade

I had initially trouble deciding with which one to shave first but eventually settled on the Chevalier, which I've used now for 2 days. Sweet shaves! But can't wait to give the other ones a go too, starting next week Monday.

Thanks! And if the other 2 shave as well and smooth as the Chevalier, I'll be in 7th Heaven!

Wacker direct (in Germany): Qualität aus Prinzip
Shaving Shop (in the US): Heribert Wacker Straight Razors : Shaving Shop - luxury classic wet shaving products - straight razors
    RoyalShave (in Canada): http://www.royalshave.com/c/Wacker

I have bought from both the first and second ones in the past.

I really like the 1st and 3rd razor in this picture...can you tell me their brand names? Really stunning looking razors!

    Thanks for all your help!

Thanks, but I will not be trading. I might let go of one of them in the Classifieds (just realised that 2 of them are very similar, the only difference being size - one is 6/8" and the other being 7/8", not enough reason to keep both)

    Thank you!

The Koraat had been presented here on SRP a while back by its Maker, the thread is here if anyone is interested.
