So I'm new to this hobby, I have been doing a fair amount of research and I have bought two razors. My intent is to send one off to get honed professionally and have another to practice honing myself. With that said I bought a Shumate #256. It is very visually appealing and in good condition. The scales are in great condition and have a wood grain look to them. The blade looks clean, the only issue is that it has a slight curve to the end of it [see pic]. My question... is that something that can be honed away or is it beyond repair? Either way I'm not too worried as it can still serve as a good to practice honing I'm just curious if anyone has had a blade like this before and/or what you have done. Thanks in advance!Name: shumate.png
