Size:  8.2 KB Just picked this up off ebay and was wondering if anyone could tell me about its history. The tang is stamped LAKESIDE CUTLERY CO. CHICAGO ILL.

    I couldn't find anything on it but I am not known as the historian around here :<0) I am sure someone will know something and chime in soon. It's a nice razor and I was watching and almost popped for it. Thought it would be better in the hands of a military man.

    The characters on the blade look very early military is why I liked it. Fill that piggy bank and keep your eyes open , the Clauss will come along.

    According to Goins" Lakeside Cutlery was a trademark used by Montgomery Ward circa 1920-1930. Much like Sears used Wilbert Cutlery as one of their trademarks around that same period.
