Thanked: 1I made a fairly good offer of a square stern canoe and a 10hp johnson motor. He turned it down and told me he had an offer of 200 per razor for his german razors.
He has 20 german razors .... Which means the other 55 must be lfrom someplace else.

If he's getting 200 per German razor, what's stopping him? From what I've seen, they aren't worth that much each. Nothing stood out.
Some frowns, some pitting, some damaged edges. I just don't believe someone site unseen would give him $200 for any one of those razors.Last edited by lindyhop66; 01-13-2014 at 11:05 PM.

So he has an offer for 4 grand and hasn't taken? Not likely.

Those blades don't look in that great shape, as mentioned, lots of smile, frowns, and some super cool tapering blades....gives me the impression he was more into collecting based on the scale aspect rather than the blade. They all seem around the 5/8th range in various conditions from average to below average...I think he's dreaming in color if he thinks he'll get anything about $500 for the lot, and that would be a very generous price IMO.

I thought he didn't want cash, so the offer of $4000 would seem to me to be irrelevant, perhaps he is using it as a value marker though.
