    Default addiction

So I have been using a straight razor since september time frame and I can't stop buying them. Aside from stropping, shaving and oil, I have no idea how to maintain them. I have 3 and one on the way. I bought a C-MON stainless today that I have been drooling over for awhile and finally had to buy it. I haven't bought anything crazy expensive becasue of my lack of knowledge. Is this normal? My wife doesn't care but she thinks I am nuts.

I really can't speak for anyone else but for me. I started back into straights sometimes in august I think and I had 4. I think now it's about 30. my razors were made anywhere between 1810 to 2013. I think your pretty normal

stropping, shaving and oil is all you really need.
Maybe get a pasted strop or barber's hone for touchups to avoid having to send them out for honing as often.

RAD is perfectly normal around here. I have almost 10, and I remember reading that Lynn had over 1000 at some point.
What I'm going to do one day, is build a box to hold my razors, brush, hone and paddle strop all together, and that should hopefully keep my RAD under control
