Thanked: 3Quality of Lockwood Brothers razor?
This razor is on ebay and it could potentially be not too expensive, but ive never heard of them them before, does any body know if this following razor could be made into a good shaver? Also im aware of the crack in the scales...

Thanked: 634They were manufactured in Sheffield, England from 1849 to present. From the photo the blade looks in good shape. It may need a good hone and strop. If so it should be a good shaver in my opinion.

Thanked: 3Yes, That is how it is being sold, assuming the seller is being completely honest (which i am inclined to believe looking at all his reviews and his general knowledge in his description) he does say it needs to be honed, and that there is "light to medium" hone wear. No cracks in the blade but a little bit of general pitting.

Looks like a nice Sheffield razor. Most likely ivory scales to boot. I would take a chance on it for the right price, if I were in the market.
