    Talking my first Revisor SR

this is my very first SR to add to my small collection of DEs.
revisor blume needs abit of a polish but in very good condition. the scale are OK but not to my standards.
was told it was 'shave ready' but was duller then a bad joke!!
but after abit on the strop it came to life but will need honing very soon

    Great blade, congratulation.
Vintage Revisors are among the best blades ever made, give it all the care it deserves.

I have a Revisor 6/8 round point and the factory edge was ok, (I did strop it before shaving) but after a ride on the rocks it is a really nice shaver!!

I am a bit confused as you said:

was told it was 'shave ready' but was duller then a bad joke!!

I do think that after a proper honing you will really see what a great shaver they can be!

When I first used the term 'A ride on his Gucci Rocks' while referring to pinklathers expensive natural hones my good mate MickR was quite concerned by it so I 'translated' for him!!

By the way if you could post your location below your avatar it would allow others who may be near you to be of some help!!
