Sorry, I must have misunderstood, it was the bit about loving to have it back that caused the confusion.

Looks like the owner of the website is more in the business of domain names than the actual product.

Thanks for sharing these articles, Badgister. I hope they might deter someone thinking about purchasing from this guy's businesses.

They have more than 60,000 likes and an almost 5 star rating based on more than 1000 reviews. It has to be legit right?

One of the 'faults' of internet sites that sell items is that there really isn't any kind of protection for the buyer! You can falsify as many 'likes' as you please but if someone doesn't 'like' your product and complains, there's no 'law' that says that you have to post it!!!
I believe that the phrase goes something like this:
"Buyer Beware! Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

I can't recall the details, and I'm sure some of the guys who have been paying attention to these things for longer than I might be able to fill them in, but my understanding is that the owner of these sites has a long history of setting up a number of companies/websites, selling garbage (along with some quality gear at high markup), then setting up another site to do it all again.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
