Thanked: 0Need help with king bell 82 razor!!!
Hey guys I'm new to the forum and to straight shaving in general but have always had a fascination with blades, especially of the antique variety. I came across this piece today, and after looking it up all over the internet and not being able to find anything about it really I was compelled to pick it up and dig deeper. ( I got it for only $40 so it won't hurt my feelings too much if it turns out to be crap) I have in my possession a gebr. Bell "king bell #82" from Solingen, Germany. The scales are an ivory plastic and the blade is in reasonable condition. No chipping or rusting, though there is a bit of uneven hone wear I intend to have professionally corrected after I get some more info on this piece. If anyone has any input on this blade I'd very much like to hear it! Thanks in advance and I greatly look forward to being a part of this awesome community.

Thanked: 0Yeah that is the only article I found at all. Seems strange that will all the information on the internet that's all I can find though. Like, there should be SOMETHING on a business that made a mass produced product. Hopefully some expert on this forum knows SOMETHING.
