Default Found a C.V Heljestrand at an Estate sale today and an unmarked razor

Stopped at an Estate sale today and found to new razors for cheap. Any info on these is appreciated. There are not any more stamps on the Heljestrand.

    First one:

It came in an interesting box:

With the price tag on it still:

The second one has no markings on the tang at all. It does have an owners name on the blade but I can't make out what it says.
It looks like it will make a nice shaver. I did discover a crack in one of the scales after I got it home. Looks to be a nice razor of some unknown origin. Anyone have a clue as to what it might be?

Nice score especially on the first one, can't help much as I'm pretty new also but both look good.

    Nice find/both razors!!

They both should hone up nicely!! While I hone my own and hone for others, my Pro of choice is GSSIXGUN! Glen won’t let you down as he does excellent work!

When they are truly shave ready you will be in for a treat!

Now! While I see that there is some minor breakage of the scales, where is the crack located at??? Can you get a picture that would show it!

The crack is right at the pen. Just a bit of CA glue and I think it will be fine for a shaver. It holds together fine right now.

i highly recommend that you send those razors to Glen or a Pro of your choice. While the super glue can work they have seen hundreds of scales and razors with problems that most of us hope to never see anytime in our lifetimes and they know how to fix them the right way!!

Besides they probably have a similar set of vintage scales lying around that they could put the razor in for a small fee!

I've used super glue to reinforce cracks at the pin from the outside of the scales but I've never been able to get the scales to look right/they have held together fine but-----

That second razor looks like a sheffield wedge reground to hollow.
The heljestrand seems like it just needs to be honed.
