My turn to agree with.you Bob, I would take that to mean a factory edge. But to be sure you could ask the vendor specifically whether it is hand honed to shave ready.
It if it is the razor you REALLY want then is the additional cost to get it honed that much of a disincentive that you would get something that you don't REALLY want.
My (and this is MY) take on blade oil is that it would be a nuisance to have to clean my.razor every day prior to use and oil it every day post use, but I guarantee that about 50% of the membership will have the opposing view
How much is the oil, if it's about $20 put that into the honing, get the razor you want and care for it well.Last edited by edhewitt; 01-12-2014 at 01:25 PM.
