Default NOS Tokyo Riki - Hoshi Tombo 300

Since recently becoming interested, I've been digging around a little bit here in Tokyo and today found three NOS Tokyo Riki -Hoshi Tombo 300 razors. They are all three in perfect or near perfect condition, no rust or blemishes.

What do you think? Good razors? Any significant value there?

    Cheers,

    Hi, and welcome to SRP!

I don't know these i particular, but vintage Japanese razors use to be good stuff, some of the Japanese lovers might chime in with more knowledge.

Value? Sorry, we don't do that here, simply because the value of a razor (or any other object) will not be the same to everyone.

If you think you paid a fair price for them they're probably worth it

Thank you for the quick reply. I admittedly don't have a wealth of experience with straights, but my sense is that it is a quality razor. Regarding value, fair enough. I hesitated to post the question, but was wondering if I should purchase all three. Thank you, again.

Contact veteran member JimR via PM, he's from the Japan area and can give you a bit more information on razors in Japan.

I have handled many Japanese straights, including a variety of Hoshitombo, they were all great shavers. I have not seen a #300 before but I have no doubt this one will be great too.
