Thanked: 60The paddle strop could be a good option as well. The spine and edge should both rest on the strop. The correct angle is created by using the geometry between the edge and the spine. You will see a small hollow between the contact of the edge and the spine on the strop of course, depending on the grind of the blade. You can really just let the razor rest on the strop and lightly drag it across, trying to keep everything nice and even.
