Thanked: 0Newbie with a New Razor
Good Evening everyone, my name is Alex.
I just signed up with SRP yesterday after doing some lurking for about a month. I've recently gotten into straight razor shaving and I bought my third razor yesterday. I found it in a local antique mall, haven't heard anything about the company, but decided to give it a shot. I'm hoping it was money well spent.
I'm having trouble locating any information on the company that manufactured this razor, so I'm hoping someone one here may have a little insight for me as to what I've got.
It's a full hollow grind. With a "999" and "Swan Works Cutlery Co Germany" stamped on one side and "Rogers Cutlery Co." stamped on the other.
I've attached some pictures, and like I said, any help would be phenomenal.
Thanks in advance everyone.

Certainly has nothing to do with Jos. Rodgers. I think a 'Made for America' German razor at a time (30's?) when name-dropping was prevalent. Probably will be a good shaver. Will need some scales!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
