Thread: Bit the bullet

Got some gift cards for Christmas and couldn't think of anything to spend them on. Took a look over at Whipped Dog and ordered one of his sight unseen razors. I think I may be coming down with RAD. This will make for 1 shavette and 2 straights. SWMBO was asking why I need more then one razor lol.

Also went and picked up a marble tile and ordered some lapping film so that I can get the razor I screwed up learning how to strop fixed.

Of course you need more than one. You need to save them all. At least that's what I tell my wife. So far I have her fooled.

Well since she finally put her foot down on my firearms acquisition disorder FAD I might as well move on to razors right?

focus on antique razors if you need to "keep the peace". womens generally get "antiques".

Ask her how many pairs of shoes she needs and she'll understand how we are with razors. Different moods require different blades. Shoes just won't cut you if you aren't paying attention...

I wouldn't know how they cut, never tried shaving with one.

Just don't tell her about buying another Razor while she's wearing them and you may stay that way haha

She's gotten accustomed to me buying decent razors and has even picked one or 2 out that I have missed. Plus, it gets me out antiquing without a fight so I think she sees it as am acceptable evil.
