I would love to get my hands on a nice 7-day set. I will probably do it one day..

    I have five now;

Dovo Bismark with the pearlex (Just looked so sweet)
Dovo Ebony Spike Point (Good price, I like the wood hanlde)
A J.A. Henckels model 40 in a white scale (never before used)
Thiers Issard AOS with a bone handle
Wade & Butcher 4/8 in real good shape, red devil handle

I really want a Dovo La Forme, just waiting for a good enough reason to buy it.

Between straight razors and Cigarbid.com I don't have much money to spend anymore!

I'll contribute as well. I currently have 4:

Hart Steel 5/8 Round Point in O-1 Tool Steel
    Thiers-Issard 4/8 Semi-Round Point in C-135 "carbonsong" Steel
Ralf Aust 5/8 Round Point in Mild Steel
    Iwasaki Kamisori 50mm (~6/8 - 7/8) in Swedish Steel

I also have a Muhle R89 DE...there is only one problem. Up until 2 weeks ago, I was still in the land of cartridge razors. I have a really bad case of RAD. I would love to be able to work on old razor and restore them, but at the moment, I do not have the space for a kitted out work area...

I'm amazed at the dedication I see on the forum with regards to restoring old pieces. But the best part is taking something that has to be done everyday and turning into a passion and hobby.

How do you like the Kamisori? I have been thinking of picking one up in the future. I carry Spyderco knives and that Japanese steel gets very sharp!

I have been antiquing, looking for the right price on some razors and to be honest, there have been some crummy deals.. 25 bones for a run of the mill razor that is completely encrusted... I found a guy with over a hundred razors in a display, each priced separately. They all were priced at the top of their value.. All the good ones were bought. I like the idea of shaving with a piece of history, but I need to find the right price first.

Bought my wade and butcher on Ebay for 25, its in really nice shape. 4/8, kind of a little different to handle for me, but well worth the price and a nice addition. Let me know if you see any more like that!

I bought the Iwasaki new, and I have not had a chance to use it yet. I got it from Takeda Aoki. There are some nice ones for less money than the Iwasaki blades. I'm assuming they do the job just fine, but I'm not yet an expert. I would like to have a right handed Machida. But none were in stock...I'll have to wait and see.

I found one on ebay, I think it was 450, that's a bit much, my small collection will suffice for a while.

About 20 currently in rotation or being restored (the aim being to turn over those I don't wish to keep after restoring and shaving with). They include 2 new blades, and the remainder vintage of varying ages, types, and countries of origin. Some of them pictured here:

At the height of RAD I had around 30 straights - trying to get it down to around 5 now to fund other ADs hehehe!
