    Broken or over honed blades, I sell to a local wood carver who makes carving knives out of them.
    So there is a use for them.

    you could shorten up those scales too... or use a busted pair if you have them lying around.

    I did shorten the scales! Grind them and buff them! I am glad that it looks so good that u cant tell!
