    Sorry, if you are asking me I do not use a pre shave and I do not make my own aftershave. It is just plain old Aqua Velva Ice Blue in the bottle which I find pours better.

    Here is a fairly early American razor by Joseph Turner of Worcester Ma. who went on to help JR Torrey start their razor production.

    Nice work! That is from Mr. Turner's brilliant work as he moved to Mass and exercised his name before the whole deal was done. Soon after, he became head of Torrey. I would say with all certainty it was made at the 'new' Torrey razor works. His work from Conn was mostly spent for Torrey Production before he was lured to Mass and joined up. All of Torrey's production is owed to him. Torrey was a stropmaker before he entered. The man was a genius.
    That one is a narrow piece of history. Neat!

    BobH, that is a great looking razor. I can definitely see its lines in the Torreys now.
