Thanked: 3Bought my first straight, How did I do?
Hi guys,
Received my first straight in the mail today. Don't know anything about it, except that its a ERN obviously.
It is honend and shave ready. I'm waiting on my next salary to buy a strop, and to have my first shave with it, cant wait! I paid 35 euro's for it. I'm quite happy with it myself.

Thanked: 522You chose a very good vintage razor. They all shave well. Good luck.
You can wrap one or two pieces of black print newspaper around a hardcover book and strop the edge on the paper. Ink is abrasive and will help maintain the edge. Enjoy.JERRY
OOOPS! Pass the styptic please.

That looks like a great first blade. Congratulations! You should get some great shaves from that ERN.
