Here's a picture of it in it's final state "shave ready". The bevel looks nice and small and straight. Great work Glen. This is what I was expecting after a professional honing. Just goes to show we all must be specific in our requests when sending out our prize possesions. I beleive that if I had been more specific in my espectations of service this mishap may have been avoided, but as they say "all's well that ends well" and this certainly did.

Looks great, Glen did an awesome job!

In all fairness, when a blade is sent to be professionally honed, it kinda goes without saying not to create 100 years of hone wear in one sitting. Really, that blade was handled with gross incompetence, it never should have happened, and it's absolutely fantastic that Glen was able to save that blade.

    Enough said...it looks fantastic!
