Thread: Best Wholesale Blades

Hi all!

I was wondering, does anyone know a good place to buy wholesale? I looked at the best razors, which I have heard are swedish. I have also been told that the Chinese and Pakistani blades are horrid. I would be looking for something at a moderate price point from a company that makes quality blades.

I just really have no clue how to answer this..

Why would you answer with no answer, seems like a waste of time just to hear your own voice. I asked the question because I haven't been able to find a good supplier given going thru threads. You might consider getting off high horse.

I disagree with gssixgun being on his high horse. First off he is a senior member and a moderator. Second if you are looking for good quality razors from a wholesaler look on Google. I do not think you will find what you are looking for. I also suggest an apology is in line to gssixgun as there was no sarcasum or high horse as you call it.

Is it just me Glen, or does it seem to you or anyone else that we sure seem to be getting more than our fair internet share of contentious posters lately?

Wholesale is for vendors turning razors at Retail.

There are manufacturers all around. To get Wholesale, you'll need to deal with them directly or their distributors.

I'm not looking to engage in an argument here. The phrase "walking away shaking my head" is a ubiquitous contemptuous phrase of someone who knows a lot jesting at the question of someone who does not. A wise man once said, there are no stupid questions. I came to see if there was anyone with industry knowledge that I do not who may know of a supplier. It's generally good business to recommend those who actually might be germane. Answering a question with phrases like "look harder" or "try google" would fall under the, obviously I have tried those and found this blog and am looking for answers from people who are knowledgeable as opposed to using another persons question which doesn't apply or SEO and ad enabled google, veiling the answers most applicable. If I was on a blog about derivatives pricing models or factor models in efficient markets and you asked me how to do it, I would refer you to the best books or not say anything, instead of, read about it or google it and act superior because I have learned about it and am a master at it.

The answers will be different.
Many good buys can be had on individual razors, if you shop a little.
When you say wholesale, I immediately think that you want a large amount to resale; if that's the case, talk to DOVO corporation or any of the other brand name companies to see what their distribution policies are.

What do you consider a moderate price?

Thank you for the ones who are trying to help. I am looking for manufacturers to source the blades from for resale as I am trying to build out a brand, but with no markings of the original manufacturer. I have heard dovo is tops, but at $130, even at a 50% discount, I am way over my pricing given what my thesis of brand and price sensitivity is. I'd be looking at 5 to 20$ for the blades only.
