Can you tell who may have made this?
I won the razor with lot of razors on eBay. Some one has done work on it before but took the makers mark off. I was just curious if there was anything that would give away a manufacture or at least an origin. Thanks for the help.

That's like trying to find a white glove in the snow but my bet is on a Sheffield razor.

Well I'm happy with that. I know it's not really possible to guess the manufacturer but knowing its a possible Sheffield goes with my theory.

Is the blade 2 1/2 inches long instead of the standard 3 inches? If so that may be a clue but then again maybe not?
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

Thanked: 634You can't see anything even with a magnifier? They had to do a lot of sanding to take the name off. Most Sheffield razors the identification marks are deep. Some razors like Eagle are not as deep. Sorry but really can't help with the identification. Still a nice razor.

Thanked: 634Could be anything: wade and butcher; or Sheffield. Sorry!
