Thanked: 3Just ordered me a new razor last night
I have a couple vintage straights that I use. I didn't have any "new" modern blades. I ordered through Vintage Blades. Can't wait for this bad boy to get here.

You'll love it. I have that one in the faux ivory scales - same blade, different scales. It's a great shaver and takes a nice edge with little effort. There's no guarantee with factory edges, of course, but mine was actually shave ready as delivered. Yours will come honed, of course. If you are unfamiliar with EHG grinds the sound of the whiskers running away screaming might be alarming at first. Just be slow and deliberate - as you should with any new blade - and you'll be fine. Congratulations on a fine acquisition.
rs,

Boker still makes great stuff. That heritage shows too this day.

I have one too and also love it; also from Vintage Blades. Jim at VB is a great guy to deal with. I had some questions before I ordered and he was great.
