    Default Straights for Sale

Ok, so I know allot of you guys are kind of miffed that there is a shortage of straights for sale... I get that!!

Anyway, looking for another kind of blade, I ran across these and thought I would share. Now I don't know if a Chinese blade will be of any use to anyone (if you look under each advertised blade it tells you the country of origin), but there are some Spanish and German blades in the mix too. The Dovo's are sold out .

NOTE: I have NEVER heard of these blades, and I have no affiliation with the place. The prices kind of give me pause, but this site does good on price for knifes too so that might not be a thing. HOPEFULLY someone does know if any of these are any good and will pipe up.

Shop for Benchmade, Spyderco, ESEE & major brand knives at Knifeworks.com - Straight Razors

    These are all German:

Here is hoping for those who have been deprived .

Scary cheap ? Also there is something about a brand new razor that is described as vintage. Do reputable razor makers call their new blades vintage ? I would think twice and do some research before I dropped a dime on them.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

I know from stuff I read here and on other sites that H&R razors and the Rough Rider razors are no good. The H&R will take an edge but won't last a shave and the Rough Rider won't even take an edge.

The rest I can't comment on as I have never heard of them.

What can I say Mark? Its too bad really. I'll say this though, the guy sells some great knifes. But really, I should have known - its not like I haven't lusted after enough straights over the years to know that if I haven't heard of them... they probably are less than desirable.

    Oh well - next

I do not think these are razors. The real razors from Dovo are out of stock (like everywhere else), the stuff in stock is the razolution type of junk which I am pretty sure is razor shaped objects.

See old thread from where they first appeared - the verdict is solid junk.

Wouldn't it take a special kind of idiot to think that the name "Rough Rider" was a good name for a razor?
