Thanked: 3164I saw that one, but dismissed it because although the spelling is the same, the mark itself is different - it is nor enclosed in a lozenge, which really could make all the difference.
Here is one with the appropriate marking:
Note the gold wash - not a Lotus this time, nor a trade mark.
No reason at all why it shouldn't be german-sourced, but due to tax laws or some such, most did have the 'importe de'Allemagne' mark on them.

Believe Rockabillyhelge is right in regard to Solingen. Found this photo on the bay today. Same Perfecta logo with Solingen on the blade. Sweet. Thanks for your input and contribution to this discussion. AJ
