I like the complementing gunstock design of the scales with the size of the blade. What's the blade width -- 6/8 or 7/8? It looks pretty well balanced for use too.

The holes aren't that bad to me, but I have to wonder why use them in a premium material like crust mammoth ivory? Why not add another material to close them up, and show off the other material -- abalone, black or gold lip pearl for example.

There is a Maestro on ebay right now. Too rich for my blood at almost $500, but is a great looking razor and may well be a bargain.

Nice, the holes are so one can see that gorgeous blade when the razor is closed, great presentation.

    Very nice! Beautiful razor.

I like the holes. Very classy. In fact those holes reduce the materials, weight and...cost...right??? Ha ha ha ha ha!! Hello, is anyone there?? Is this thing working?
