    my thought is that it does look a little "dirty" for the price. The price is ok but that back is rust and it will just keep living on. Don't get me wrong, the blade probably has a lifetime left. That is my take on it. For a trouble free blade that requires no future or immediate work look around. There are some nice blades for very little. The key is to take your time and don't rush into it.

    I don't know if it's the photo but the toe looks funny. it's like someone messed with it.

    Thank for all the input I have been really wanting the boker edelweiss but I can't find one in Stock
    any where especially somewhere that has them legitimately shave ready that's why I'm looking
    into some older blades until they become available again

    That's because the "honemeister" they use is an individual who started to learn a little here as a beginner and then suddenly became a Master with 10 years of honing experience.

    Seems to have been 'roundpointed', and not so smoothly. To rescale in order to sell, it would seem some work on the tang might have benefited it as well. JMO
