which is the best
I have just a few razors compared to a lot of the members out there so I thought I would ask the question. Among all the Sheffield's that was made which would be considered the best. Now I know that that is a loaded question but a valid one. I now have an I Barber a G worshington? wade and butcher john heifer joseph Rodgers and son Bengal H & J W King and they all shave good. But it would be interesting what the brotherhood would say. open for suggestions.

I think I know which razor is the best but right now I'm trying to settle the question of what is the best food. After that I've been asked to determine who makes the best pickup truck, then I will get to your question.

Thanked: 3226Really makes no difference what others think is best, only your own opinion counts. There really is no testing like that done in Consumers Magazine for rating anything related to shaving, it is all subjective opinion and not objective facts.

Now that's easy. the best food is the food the Dr. says not to eat. the best pick up is the one that's paid for has gas no flats hooked to a boat with all your fishing gear and or hunting which ever applies. now back to the razor question

I'm thinking of getting another and was wondering what name brand to start looking for. I really don't know how many different names for sheffields that's out there.

Easy question to answer: The one you have, or get that shaves best
On the serious side; about any vintage Sheffield will be as good as the other, some like W&B and Wostenholm just have gotten more hype than others, and are more common.
I've both owned and honed more unknown Sheffields that don't stand back for W&B...Need help or tutoring? Check out the .

Thanked: 4827I have several Frederick Reynolds 7/8 wedges that I am particularly fond of, as well as three Joseph Elliots. The other sheffields that I have are nice but not my favorites. I think it just comes down to playing favorites.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

The best Sheffield razor is the Frederick Reynolds frameback that I just got in the mail.
