just received a pair of gold dollars, so I had to try them out. shaved one side with one of my trusty dovos, then then the others side with the golden dollar, the golden dollar isn't that bad with a bit of honing on my niniwa 10k stone, why do you put down a golden dollar sr?

i have four dovos,one thiers issard, a max sprecher near wedge sr and i found that even a cheaper sr can be up there with the german workmanship , i would say that i can trust german, japanese, english and american workmanship,.

Gold Dollar best razor period. Shave like there is no tomorrow for the fraction of the cost of a custom made razor. Gold Dollar will wipe all other razors off the planet with their superior shaveness.

i have been scanning ebay for straight razors and have found that anything that proclaims to be a custom straight razor for fourty dollars to at least one hundred dollars is a rip offfffff,,, they are only for collection purposes only, not for shaving. if you are interested in true custom straight razors educate yourselves,,, just google custom straight razors and you will find that they do not come cheap, expect to pay from $800.00 and up, even to the sky so to speak.
