I finally got around to using the 5/8 Bismarck I got last year. I'll have to say I was somewhat disappointed. being use to the heaver blades this light one seems to just tug and pull it's way though my beard. Now it was easy to handle and fit my hand ok but when it came to my chin whiskers it let me know it did not like them. I know the blade was sharp because at that time when I got a new razor I sent it to the same person to hone and all he honed came back perfect. I really don't have many 5/8 razors or any that's really light. I have a 4/8 for some reason feels heaver that the Bismarck and cuts better. I guess what I'm really saying is I think I should have mixed up the razors more and not used the heavy ones so much in a row. that way I wouldn't have noticed so much of a change. anyone else have this problem or is it just me. Just thought I'd through that out there for consideration.
