I'm brand new to SRP and I have a question.
Hello SRP forum from sunny Cumbria, Northern England.
I've haven't been using a straight razor for very long and currently shave with a TI Dreadnaught 7/8, Bartmann 7/8, Vintage Wade & Butcher Special 5/8 and a 13/16” Bengal extra hollow ground straight razor. I'm really enjoying the shaving experience and trying out different blades and that leads to my question. I have purchased a Japanese straight as part of a job lot and I'm clueless to what make it is.
Can you help?
Looking forward to many more contributions and thanks for any help. SteveLast edited by Fizog; 03-18-2014 at 10:23 PM.

I don't know the brand either, but that razor is a beauty! What a nice find, that should serve you well.

I'm not 100% sure but it looks exactly like my Eiko. The markings on yours and mine are different but it looks damn near the same. It's an awesome razor that takes and edge that is frighteningly sharp. You did well! Be happy about that one.

Hi Steve, it's Jamie from over on the shaving room I told you to ask over here, I'm sure Seth or Stefan will give you a answer and have an idea what the Kanji mark is.
