You're lucky you got any sort of a response from them. I emailed them about factory bevels on my knives 3 months ago and haven't heard anything back from them.

At the time in Germany the set was sold at 275 euros. If you are seriously interested I am willing to mail Zwilling and see if they are willing to send it to Holland. If so I can forward it to you. I will only charge you for the addtional shipping costs, and insurance if you so desire. Let me know.

BTW I created a thread about this item last year!

Kees, any way we could get these to the US would be greatly appreciated. I don't think I speak for myself. This is one beautiful set that can be passed down for generations.
FYI, I grew up in a Dutch community in Iowa. I'm one of the few that can pronounce Dutch names where I work!

    Hawkeye,

So I can PM you in Dutch?

Anyway, I'll check with Zwilling here to see whether the set is still available.

    I'll let you know.

Kees, unfortunately, all I can manage in your language is swearing. And it has been so long that I might not even be able to manage that!

There's two sets available at Zwilling in the Hague, which is 3 hours' drive from where I live. 275 euros each set.

I am willing to be a middle man or you may want to order it from them. That'll save you shipping and handling.

Details of Zwilling in the Netherlands:

    ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS Amsterdam, P.C. Hoofdstraat 43, 1071 BM, tel: 020-6714220

ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS Rotterdam, Lijnbaan 106, 3012 ER, tel: 010-4126590

ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS Den Haag, Dag. Groenmarkt 25, 2513 AL, tel: 070-3657748

Zwilling apparently sent a couple of sets to each retailer on their 275th anniversary. You can try the others as well.

    Good luck.

Sorry to bring up an old post but can someone show updated links or post pictures of the 275th Anniversary Set. I have Henckels from the 250th Anniversary and I'd like to compare them. Thanks.
