    Default 7 day sets

How does one value 7 day sets?

Is it the value of one razor multiplied by 7; is it worth more because it is a full set and likely harder to find; or is it worth less as some people don't want 7 razors all the same?

The question is general in nature, not specific to any brand/style etc.
It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice

It is like anything else - whatever the market would bear. The norm seems to be the value of one razor times seven multiplied by a factor smaller than one (sometimes much smaller), just because people don't want to pay much money for stuff.
It is contrary to what one may think that there is an inherent value of having a complete set - if you break it up you could get significantly more money than if you'd sell it as a set. However I have never been able to make myself break up a set, because I know it will never come back together and all of mine are quite unique and rare.

I enjoy having them, that's why I bought them in the first place, so their monetary value doesn't concern me much at this point.

Funny thing is I also think of the box as a factor. Some of the seven day sets came in very nice boxes. There was one around a year ago that had an over the top box. The razors in it were a good brand and all unused. That set went for quite a bit more than the average set does, in part due to the box. So there is more to it than just the razors themselves.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
