    Default Info on razor

I found a razor today and the only name on it is TRUSTEEl. it looks like it might be german ground but can't say for sure. I looked in the data base here on SRP and didn't find it. The scales look like maybe tortoise but can't be sure on that. The razor looks like it might be early 1900 ish. maybe newer or a little older. anyone run across anything like it. I wish there was a web site that you could type in a name and research it that way . thanks

I couldn't find much. But what I found was "shaves great!" So... that's a plus! Interested in what some of the history buffs here have to say.

There a few threads about them here, and found a boatload of razors on the web, all with the same markings only "Trusteel" nothing else.
Going by the look of them the scales, the boxes with a few of them with different retail, hardware store it seems like its German made. Like the previous poster said great shavers as well.

I talked to a friend and was told it might be a Sheffield. also honed and shaved with it and although it did good i'm not really happy with it. i'm more into the wade and butchers or the other heavier blades. anyway thanks for the help.
