Thanked: 0I got two knifes, what the value of them?
Hi all.
I got two knifes just laying around and probobly not going to be used, one is a swedish one and it´s called SSA with cellular scales and the other is " Joseph rodgers and sons, cutlers to their majesties n9 6 nortfolk street shieffield" with horn scales and it´s marked "fine india steele" on the blade that also have barbers notch. both of them is restored and never used since. I´m not very afflicted of RAD and have one other that I prefer to shave with. But just curios, is this something that could probably bring in some money? I´m way to tired to get it on with camera right now btw...

Thanked: 1263Welcome to the Forum We don't do valuations here on SRP as beauty and value is in the eye of the beholder. Check eBay or other such sites completed auctions for a reference on going rates.

Thanked: 634That is what Catrentshaving said. Look them up on eBay under completed items. Find a razor like yours in similar condition and see what it sold for. That will give you a value on yours.
And welcome to the forum. There are lots of good people here with a pile of knowledge. Make the best of it.

They sound like nice items but without pictures it's difficult to say. Heck, you'd be surprised at the money that junk will bring on EBay when it comes to straight razors. They are in high demand. Good luck!

Joseph Rodgers is an outstanding razor manufacturer and I have no clue about the SSA but I know most Swedish razors are good. If your blades are rusty along the cutting edge, chances are they're trashed. If not,
