    Post Columbia Cutlery 5/8 square

Just purchased a Columbia Cutlery 5/8 in an auction. The price was right and even if it turns out to be a mistake, I'll use it to improve my honing skills. Does anyone know much about Coumbia?

Going without seeing any pictures, The Columbia Cutlery co of Worcester, Massachusets is probably what you got there. Around the turn of the century that area in Mass produce some fine razors, Worchester razor co, Torrey's, Swedish razor co, the little Sheffield of Mass.

That's good to hear! I believe that's what I have, in the yellow bakelite. (Or something similar) Looking forward to seeing it. I'm sure that at the very least it will be a decent starter blade.
    Cheers!
