Thanked: 2Please help me figure out what I've got.
First off I want to apologize if I am beating a dead horse I'm a newbe here. I recently bought a razor at an estate auction and I am trying to get a better idea of the time period it was made. I'm not trying to determine value or anything because I don't intend to do anything but shave with it and restore it a bit. I've been researching it and I haven't really been very successful in my venture so any help would be extremely appreciated. Its stamped George Wostenholm & Sons celebrated I*XL Washington Works Sheffield. I have read some about the twin works and the tariff in 1887 or I think it was somewhere around that time. I know its old but just can't make heads or tails of the different, and very limited, things I have come across. Here's a few pictures of it.
