    Default R. Hibbard razor

Any one know anything about this razor? I can't find much on it. There was a post from a couple of years ago. I pm'd the gent to see if he ever found out anything. Here is the tang stamp.

I know I have seen a razor with scales like this but I can't remember where.

The scales are piquee work on ivory, very upscale. Not turning anything up on Hibbards, will have to dig deeper.

Are the "Y"s above the name a maker's mark?

Forerunner to Hibbard Spencer Bartlett and Co? I read an article about the history of the company not long ago but don't recall where. I have an HSB razor so the name rang a bell.

    Hope this helps a little.
