Default H. Boker "Good As Gold"

I found this on eBay and chatted some with the seller. He wanted $65 BIN and I offered $50 and he took it. From what I've seen online it is likely the scales have been changed. Most I've seen on the internet have faux pearloid carved scales. But I'm not unhappy and look forward to my first Boker.

The original scales would've been a faux ivory pressed with some kind of scale/ leaf pattern.
It shaved very well though, glides over like butter, can tree-top through leg and arm hair even after being used many times. $50 was a good price.

Still awaiting delivery, but it is supposed to come shave ready and the seller outlined his honing process. Looking forward to it.

After two days of no responses to my post I was beginning to think I had been had with my purchase. I did some research before making my offer and it did look like a good deal even at his price. But he bit on my lower offer and I am happy.

Probably wouldst been similar to this but scales don't make a bad razor good or a good razor bad so long as they work good

@Dennis: Yeah, I wasn't worried about the scales. I figured they had been changed from the research I did on the SR. Nice looking scales on your SR BTW.
