Thought I would post this one, not a whole lot of them on the net anywhere. It's a very cool razor, that clicks in and out of the metal scales using a detent. Just wanted a few opinions on what you guys think I should do with this one.

first off, the pivot pin is a slot screw with nothing on the end to keep it in place. This makes the blade very lose in the scales. I'd re pin it with some new rod, but I can't get at the head of the pin with my peening hammer because of the way the scales are shaped. Suggestions???

Second, The scales have some nice patina, and I kinda like that. On the other hand, I think I could get this whole razor reflecting, my ugly mug, back at me. I might like that too. Opinions???

Any other info, the wise could provide, would be great too.

    Take a look.

For peening could you use a nail set?
That is what came to my mind right off the bat.....

I was also thinking that. I'd be afraid of wrecking the scales with too much hammer work though. The scales are thin.

I do think the screw is the original pin though. I may try and find a nut for it but that could turn out to be a needle in a hay stack.
