Default Need help with choosing SR

I'm new to this type shaving. Presently using a Dovo shavette.
I would like to buy a singing blade SR.
Something with a resonable price without sacrificing quality; isn't that what everybody looks for.
I'm not sure where to look, or what to look for.
I hate buying things that I know so little about.
    Any suggestions?

Whipped Dog is an excellent choice for a bargain priced, vintage shave-ready razor.

If you prefer a new SR, then a Dovo "Best Quality" is a good choice. Many of the online vendors who advertise here have them for sale.

Dovo used to make a "Prima Klang" singing razor (Extra Hollow Ground), but I haven't seen them for sale lately. Perhaps you can find one in the SRP Classifieds or on Ebay.

You can also put a "want to buy" ad on the SRP Classifieds.

    Welcome to the forum.
It's not easy buying a first razor without any experience.
My razor is a Dovo silversteel with ebony wood scales, didn't regret it so far.
I don't have that much experience, so I can't give very much advise.
The only remark I have is, I don't know if a singing razor is the best to start with.
I think an average razor might be better.
    Sometimes I feel normal.
Then it's time to lay down and wait for it to pass.
